Psychological and Counseling Support

Systemic psychotherapy has proven to be effective in addressing a wide range of psychological difficulties, such as: depression, phobias, anxiety, panic attacks, psychosomatic issues, eating disorders, pathological grief, divorce, anxiety disorders, and more.

It is also applied to relationship difficulties between couples, issues related to separation and divorce, parent-child relationship challenges, and behavioral problems in children and adolescents that affect their adjustment within the family and at school.

The goal of therapy is for the individual facing difficulties to explore their relationship with all the influencing factors and the interactions between them. With the support of the therapist, the person is guided toward developing a new perspective and a different way of understanding and dealing with life situations.

Individuals
The systemic approach, combining principles and practices from systemic theory and other evidence-based therapeutic models, effectively addresses various psychological disorders such as depression, phobias, anxiety, and more.

Couples
Research has shown that couples who seek psychological support for difficulties in their relationship—such as ongoing conflict, communication problems, infidelity, or emotional distance—are more likely to stay together and improve the quality of their relationship.
At ke.sy.thes, we use an integrative couples therapy model that draws from modern therapeutic approaches such as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
Couples are seen together in counseling sessions, and individual sessions may also take place when needed.

Families
Like any living system, the family evolves. Today, families need most of all to meet emotional needs and foster open, mature communication.
In systemic therapy, we emphasize helping family members express their feelings and needs, understand each other’s differences, and recognize the evolving roles of men and women over time.

Therapy Groups
Therapy is often conducted through group sessions. Group members act as a mirror, offering objective reflections that help individuals gain awareness of their issues and transform how they deal with them.
